WHAT YOU WILL WALK AWAY WITH
This training opportunity has been designed to address the common challenges, fears, pitfalls and uncertainties individuals face when they facilitate internal and external meetings. This course provides in-depth trainer support, peer support and practice time building on your own style to facilitation. 
Skills in end-to-end facilitation (including planning, designing and fit-for-purpose methods).
Microskills how to get the best out of groups and facilitate tricky behaviours.
Practical action plans for where to further refine your skills and experience.
Understanding of your facilitation style and how groups respond.
Peer network to support each other's learning and share tips and tricks.
Confidence to test out your new found skills and knowledge and experiment and innovate.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is this program available online? 

This course is 100% online, so you can participate from anywhere (Australia, NZ and overseas), time zones permitting. You will be encouraged to observe a facilitated session (1 hour or longer) as part of the program, this can be online or face-to-face depending on what you can find.  

What is blended learning?

Blended learning is at the heart of this program, where you will have times of self-directed learning and live sessions with other learners (a max of 20 participants per course). The program is for a time period of 8 weeks in total, however all resources will be available to you beyond the course. 

Observation requirement: How can I find a facilitated session to observe? 

There are engagement activities happening all of the time in your area (good places to look at Councils, State Government Have your Say pages, Health and infrastructure agencies etc) MosaicLab will also do there best to support you in finding a session to observe in you are having trouble in your own area. 

How is this course different to other facilitation courses

The game-changer aspect of this facilitation course, is that it is highly practical, not just teaching you about facilitation but it is helping you become more observant and reflective of this practice and apply your skills amongst your peers and communities. We will nurture your unique style and provide feedback in the areas you would like to improve.
